Brad Anthony Bernard is an Associate Professor of Art at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with over 25 years of experience as a painter, muralist, and educator in Milwaukee. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Mississippi, Oxford.

Bernard's work spans various media and subjects, including identity, culture, portraiture, and abstract forms reflecting human behavior, sexuality, and spirituality. He is also the founder of The Community Arts & Funk Festival (www.artsandfunk.com), promoting arts awareness and education in the Milwaukee community through local and regional urban visual/performing art talents and organizations.
