This is a one-of-a-kind original acrylic/collage painting of BB King is hand signed and autographed by the famed musician, and is painted on 36” x 60” canvas and framed under plexiglass, The composition depicts the elder bluesman emerging from a 'history quilt' of images embedded in a roadmap locating the Blues and Soul mecca of Memphis, TN. Riley B. King, known professionally as B.B. King, was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. He introduced a sophisticated style of soloing based on fluid string bending, shimmering vibrato and staccato picking that influenced many later blues electric guitar players.
